Maxime Cabanne @_maixi__, captain of the French disabled surfing team, led his team to the gold medal in 2023. This world champion has turned his disability into a strength. A very athletic athlete, he also competes in wheelchair pelota and padel competitions. He's also trying to make a name for himself on the wheelchair tennis scene and recently joined the @botennispadel family!

But he's also made it his mission to dispel prejudices through emotion and sport. A contact and supervisor for the @commelesautres_asso and @handi__surf associations, he also conducts various awareness-raising activities to show that solutions exist for those with disabilities. With this in mind, Maxime will be present at the ENGIE Open to raise awareness among young people about this very popular sport in France! During our sports course for children and teens, wheelchairs will be available all week!
