Join our experts and partners for a unique event on Monday, June 9, 2025, as part of the 22nd edition of ENGIE OPEN BIARRITZ.
Through an inspiring session, testimonials, and practical workshops, we will review the latest trends in AI applied to education. Game, Set and Inclusion – Roundtable on Sport and Disability

As part of the 22nd edition of the ENGIE Open de Biarritz, this round table will highlight the inspiring journeys of athletes, public figures and professionals committed to a more inclusive society through sport.


How can sport be a lever for reconstruction, emancipation, and integration for people with disabilities? What concrete commitments are being made by communities, businesses, and federations?

Around Olivier Goy, exceptional guest, suffering from Charcot's disease and initiator of numerous solidarity projects , several guests will share their vision and their actions:

This thought-provoking talk, followed by a practical workshop, will leave you with:

Mélanie Maillard

Sports Psychologist and Multidisciplinary Mental Coach

Mélanie Maillard is a clinical psychologist and mental performance coach for elite athletes. She also works with entrepreneurs and artists. Currently, she holds a strategic role within the French Tennis Federation (FFT), where she co-leads the "mental and psychological dimension" division of the National Technical Department.

Trained in clinical psychology, she received the Young Researcher Award in sports psychology, and went on to study various mind-body approaches. From the start of her career, she has worked with national sports federations (handball, tennis) and at INSEP, where she supported numerous athletes in their journey toward excellence, all while continuing her work as a therapist. She is now a leading figure in sports psychology in France.

 

High-Level and Cross-Disciplinary Support: Mélanie Maillard has worked with many top-level athletes and coaches, including: Nicolas Mahut, Julien Benneteau, Pauline Parmentier, Kristina Mladenovic (tennis), Pauline Ado (surf), Professional women's handball teams (e.g. PSG Issy-les-Moulineaux), Gymnasts and professional golfers, Entrepreneurs, traders, managers, and executives.

She is also the mental coach of Tunisian tennis player Ons Jabeur (former World No. 2), whom she accompanies on the WTA Tour.

 

A Holistic Vision of Human Potential

Beyond individual coaching, Mélanie Maillard is the driving force behind symposiums, seminars, training programs, and events focused on mental health and self-fulfillment.

She advocates for a decompartmentalized approach to psychology, one that embraces emotional, physical, spiritual, cognitive, social, and cultural dimensions — all of which are essential when striving for excellence through high-performance states.
